"I have a simple calculation on how long we will be friends.Count the stars in the sky and sand grains on the shore and multiply the sum by my heart beats"
I beg to differ .Call it a pessimistic view , but there is not much difference between a realist and a pessimist.
You and I were never meant to be forever.Too many differences between us , are now solidifying as stone walls and beast filled moats are now coming between us.
I realize that our destinies are entwined but never joined.
Our lives have led us in different paths.
Soon you and I will drift apart, too immersed in our own lives ,meeting new people , facing new challenges , new problems , new dilemmas .It takes a lifetime and more to solve these ,And soon these will define us , as they will become a part of our lives .
Too busy for anything else , and completely absorbed by our rapidly changing present, we will have no choice but to discard our pasts and their burdens , and thus disconnect our bonds.
This isn't the first time I've seen it happen.Too many unnamed relations have simply deliquesced with time .It happens to the best of us .It is inevitable.
Change is the natural order of life.Embrace it , for only change is permanent.
What we had was beautiful while it lasted .It changed me forever.
So , when I bid adieu , I promise you , I will do it tearfully .And my heart will sing for you.
Goodbye and Goodnight
Alvida
wow, i tip my hat to you. i don't know how to do this.
ReplyDeleteThis letter is addressed to somebody close.
ReplyDeleteIt is inspired by an sms that I received .
This letter laments the eventual disintergration of everything we hold dear in life-love , friendship, relations, our own aspirations and ambitions.
It was not meant to be pessimistic , but rather elegaic and if possible somewhat elegant.
