Tu bolen, main bola (you said , I said)

You said :Aaj kal ke bacche bacche jaise nahi lagte hain...

I said :Haan, yeh sach hain...woh aaj kal bacchon se zyaada miniature adults lagte hain.

You said:Yeh ho kya gaya he zamane ko ?

I said : Yeh aaj ki fast-forward zindagi mein kahi unka bachpana khogaya he.Unka bachpana hi unka sabse bada dushman ban gaya he.Yeh fast forward zindagi ka race mein woh humse aage nikalna chahate he.Race mein daudte zindagi yoohien kat raha he.

You said :Uuf yeh zindagi.

I said:Uuf !

What I did not say : The only thing that makes life possible is permanent ,intolerable uncertainty of not knowing what comes next.

I'm waiting, anticipating , getting it all wrong, but waiting nonetheless.

A volley of SMSs is all you get.

I confess(like I've done before)
Every time....every single time
I get afraid, very afraid
But there you go expecting and get disappointed
And then you expect to be disappointed
Its not you , its me its true
I feel unworthy , even to be next to you
But you wield the power , to transmute
To heal and make forget
And having done all that
You expect and get disappointed
and then you expect to be disappointed
But forgive this heart
It pounds the drums of doom,
wildly, shaking me up
The more I think of it the weaker I get
I'm afraid I can't call you...because I'm afraid
Please consider my heart and what it goes through
The more I think of it , the weaker I get ,

So don't wait for me to call ,
Because In the end,
A volley of SMSs is all you get
.

Singh is Kinng

Rating:★★★
Category:Movies
Genre: Comedy
"No sardars were harmed while making this movie"

There is a disclaimer at the beginning of the movie that they have used a CG chicken and that no chickens were harmed during the making of the movie...But they forgot to add this disclaimer "No sardars were harmed while making this movie"
The main cast is a bunch of faux-sardars with neatly trimmed facial hair and readymade turbans that have earned the ire of real sardars all over india (which is basically Punjab)
The story is of a village idiot Happy Singh , who is sent to australia to reform and retrieve an underworld don Lucky Singh who is also called King (or Kinng as per producers and their numerologists)
A twist of fate makes Happy the kinng and therefore Happy Singh Is Kinng.

Strengths of the movie:Akshay Kumar and his goofy antics. Now you know why Akshay Kumar is Kinng !

Weaknesses:Oh boy , where do I even begin ?
Weak story?
Plot holes the size of pot holes ?
Lack of continuity ?
Lack of coherent screenplay?
Lack of ....Arrgh...I can't go on like this....
I mean , who are shooting at kinng , and why ?I'll never know the answers ...But Singh Is Kinng sadly and this shows you the sorry state of the tastes of the lowest common denominator class for which this movie was made.

Aspartame-The sweet and silent killer.

Read this...and you may never drink diet coke again...(why would you anyway ?)

In October of 2001, my sister started getting very sick. She had stomach
spasms and she was having a hard time getting around. Walking was a major
chore. It took everything she had just to get out of bed; she was in so much
pain.

By March 2002, she had undergone several tissue and muscle biopsies and was
on 24 various prescription medications. The doctors could not determine what
was wrong with her. She was in so much pain, and so sick.she just knew she
was dying. She put her house, bank accounts, life-insurance, etc., in her
oldest daughter's name, and made sure that her younger children were to be
taken
care of.

She also wanted her last hooray, so she planned a trip to Florida (basically
in a wheelchair) for March 22 nd

On March 19 I called her to ask how her most recent tests went, and she said
they didn't find anything on the test, but they believe she had MS.

I recalled an article a friend of mine e-mailed to me and I asked my sister
if she drank diet soda? She told me that she did. As a matter of fact, she
was getting ready to crack one open that moment.

I told her not to open it, and to stop drinking the diet soda!

I e-mailed her the article my friend, a lawyer, had sent.

My sister called me within 32 hours after our phone conversation and told me
she had stopped drinking the diet soda AND she could walk! The muscle
spasms went away. She said she didn't feel 100% but she sure felt a lot better.
She told me she was going to her doctor with this article and would call me
when she got home.

Well, she called me, and said her doctor was amazed! He is going to call all
of his MS patients to find out if they consumed artificial sweeteners of any
kind.

> In a nutshell, she was being poisoned by the Aspartame in the diet soda.and
> literally dying a slow and miserable death.
>
> When she got to Florida March 22, all she had to take was one pill, and that
> was a pill for the Aspartame poisoning! She is well on her way to a complete

>
> And she is walking! No wheelchair! This article saved her life.

> I have spent several days lecturing at the WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCE on

>
> In the keynote address by the EPA, it was announced that in the United

> It

>
>
> I will explain why Aspartame is so dangerous: When the temperature of this

> formaldehyde and then to formic acid, which in turn causes metabolic acidosis.
> Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants. The methanol
> toxicity mimics, among other conditions, multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus.
> Many people were being diagnosed in error. Although multiple sclerosis is not
> a
> death sentence, Methanol toxicity is!
>
> Systemic lupus has become almost as rampant as multiple sclerosis,
> especially with Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi drinkers. The victim usually does not

> lupus to such a degree that it may become a life-threatening condition.

>
> This has been recently exposed in the New York Times.
>
> These [organizations] cannot criticize any additives or convey their link

>
> Senator Howard Metzenbaum wrote and presented a bill that would require

A Free Man and the Deep Sea

L'Homme et la mer

Homme libre, toujours tu chériras la mer!
La mer est ton miroir; tu contemples ton âme
Dans le déroulement infini de sa lame,
Et ton esprit n'est pas un gouffre moins amer.

Tu te plais à plonger au sein de ton image;
Tu l'embrasses des yeux et des bras, et ton coeur
Se distrait quelquefois de sa propre rumeur
Au bruit de cette plainte indomptable et sauvage.

Vous êtes tous les deux ténébreux et discrets:
Homme, nul n'a sondé le fond de tes abîmes;

Charles Baudelaire

Somehow He has captured what I love about the sea...

O free man, you will always love the sea,
for the sea is your mirror,
you contemplate your soul in its surges
as it endlessly unrolls

You like to plunge into the bosom of your image;
You embrace it with eyes and arms, and your heart
Is distracted at times from its own clamoring
By the sound of this plaint, wild and untamable.

Both of you are gloomy and reticent:
Man, no one has sounded the depths of your being;
O Sea, no person knows your most hidden riches,
So zealously do you keep your secrets!

Yet for countless ages you have fought each other
Without pity, without remorse,
So fiercely do you love carnage and death,
O eternal fighters, implacable brothers!
