Modern Day Philosophers

When we want to know if what we perceive is the truth, then we (are) become philosophers.

I've always considered myself a Joker-Philosopher.Everything is funny and tremendously sad simultaneously because it is.

We,the modern day philosophers cull our knowledge from a myriad of unlikely sources:sitcoms, movies, rock songs, old classics, comics, commercialized spirituality, lively water cooler discussions, booze binging sessions, through our excesses like rampant consumerism, though our dreadful and dreary life experiences that refuse to be fathomed-somehow hoping that we've come upon a general consensus that we've stumbled upon the truth

The consensus:

Life so far has been a tangled mess of paradoxes and contradictions, and in terms of gratification, a profound dissatisfaction and a major disappointment.

"Is that all there is?" is the du jour question on every body's mind along with apathy and anathema of life itself.

"That life is a trap we've always known:we are born without consent.locked in a body we never chose, and destined to die"

Is that all  there is ?

The answer could lie in the so many carelessly uttered "So What(s)" and "I don't care(s)"
