  1. I couldn't understand until I read the statement: "The do-gooders are also seen as deviant rule breakers. It's as if they're giving away Monopoly money so someone can stay in the game, irking other players to no end." yeah, that pisses me off as well.

  2. It really means 'when in Rome, do as the Romans do'. But it actually means there's no outstanding individualism, no more potential leaders... and it looks bad. I believe it's the trend in this overcrowded world where everything is now governed by systems. Everyone now has to work within a system.
